Kid's On The Move

These are the

tools

you'll use to

Change
kid's lives

The beauty of Kids On The Move is that no two lessons are the same. And we don't just mean in the values your kids take away.

Each volume includes a dynamic mix of interactive DVD (or video) and live-action story-telling devices that share Christian ideals in memorable ways.

Video Song Services
We've recorded a number of praise and worship songs just for children's church, and we've provided the lyrics on screen to help them sing along. These musical sets are visually stimulating and easy to follow. Each volume of curriculum has its own unique song service videos, so you can create new combinations every week!

Ice-Breaker Puppet Skits
Proverbs says that a merry heart doeth good like a medicine, and we believe humor can open up an audience. These short, two-character skits are designed to be performed by a teacher and one puppeteer. Their purpose is to introduce the lesson's theme during the opening moments of class.

Adventures In Faith Stories
Volumes 1 through 4 include heroic stories of action characters who trust in God for deliverance in times of trouble. These stories are accompanied by "A4 size" comic book illustrations so you can produce transparencies for use with an overhead projector.

Rovercomer Skits
Rovercomer talks in a dog dialect that only the teacher can understand. His wild gestures and colorful costume make him a real attention-grabber. With the help of a cleverly-written script, the teacher interprets Rovercomer's story for the class. These skits can be easily altered to suit your own costume character or you can purchase our full-body Rovercomer costume at a special price with the curriculum.

Puppet Skits
Every volume of Kids On The Move is equipped with comedic puppet skits for each lesson. We wrote the skits with the Oogene Greene puppet family and the Adventures Of Faith Man characters in mind. You have the option of purchasing these accompanying characters, or altering the skits for use with your own puppets.

These skits are designed to provide both positive and negative role models for the teacher to present in the classroom. In the same way that Bible stories praise good character and condemn evil, these power-packed puppet skits can help you identify character strengths and weaknesses.

Powerful Messages
We believe that children need to hear the preaching of God's Word just as adults do. The illustrated sermon is the highlight of our weekly lesson, and we've designed each message for your Master Teacher to present. These messages come with informative commentary so the teacher who presents them will understand and be able to convey the central truth of each lesson.

Easy-to-find objects are incorporated into every message and instructions show you how to use them at just the right time. Each set of curriculum features a checklist for the teacher to use in rounding up the needed materials for each quarter

The Book Of Books
Volumes 1 through 4 feature powerful Bible character puppet skits on video cassette. These skits are just the right length for group presentation and can be viewed in two different parts so the teacher can stimulate interaction with the class during the presentation.

Exciting Review Games
Kids pay closer attention to the lesson if they know they're going to be tested at the end of the class. Review games provide the teacher with a valuable tool to reinforce learning. We provide a number of creative ideas for games that help you close out each class with a bang.

Offering Lessons
Included with each week's lesson is a five- to seven-minute illustrated offering sermon based on the biblical principles of giving. There's a big difference between taking an offering and giving kids faith to give. Each lesson will supply teachers with the tools they need to present fun and easy-to-understand instruction concerning God's Word on giving. Part of Volumes 5 through 8.

The Master Mechanic
Volumes 5 through 8 of Kids On The Move feature brief video segments of The Master Mechanic. These brief video stories are designed for presentation at the beginning of a class to introduce the theme for the day's lesson.

The Cimarron Trail
Every quarter of the Kids On The Move curriculum contains one or two episodes of The Cimarron Trail western adventure series with Marshal Bill Gunter and Nicodemus. The themes of each program are continued in the printed lessons for the day. These half-hour programs are action-packed and provide godly heroes for kids to follow.
